Soil Aggregates Stability Response to Summer Fallow Tillage in Rainfed Winter Wheat Fields on the Loess Plateau

Soil aggregates are one of the most important indicators soil quality, which can be affected strongly by tillage. Little is known about composition and stability under summer fallow tillage in rainfed winter wheat fields on Loess Plateau. were assessed before sowing after harvest three treatments during fallow, including minimum (FMT), subsoiling (FST) plough (FPT). The results showed that 0.25–2 mm mechanical-stable (MSA) FPT treatment significantly higher (25.5–42.1%) compared with FMT 0–40 cm layer sowing. increased 0.5–2 size WSA content (24.6–342.4%) 0–20 harvesting. Compared treatment, MSA FST 0–50 harvest. decreased geometric mean diameter (4.2–9.3%) rate (73.6–252.6%) destruction (1.3–3.5%) unstable aggregate index (0.8–2.3%) sowing, treatment.
